Meet the Board
The board is the “backbone” of the community. The purpose of the board is to make sure the community is following the path God has laid out before us. A lot of prayer, decision making and more prayer goes into each board meeting. The board is guided by a Covenant Circle, a group of clergy men and women dedicated to praying over each board member and the community.
Each board member serves one term. One term is three years. Once elected, a “position” is assigned and the first year is spent shadowing a third-year board member and learning the assigned position. In the second year, the board member takes over and performs the tasks learned in the first year. The third year is a time of teaching a newly elected board member the assigned position. During your initial walk experience, you were given the tools to deepen your relationship with Christ and to bring others to deepen their walk. Being a board member helps you develop leadership skills to further advance the Kingdom of Christ.
