God’s Special Blessings
My name is Lisa Norris, my husband and I have a special needs son and every time we would work a Walk to Grace walk and come home he would always ask us when he could go through one. He is not able to stay the 3 days and do everything that you do on one. So a couple of years ago I approached the Emmaus Board with an idea of having a 1 day walk for the special needs people. I am so thankful that they have supported me on this. We now do a 1 day retreat for them called “God’s Special Blessings” and everything has been made for them to understand and participate. We will have several adults that will be there to work the treat and help with any needs they may have. If you are not familiar with the Walk to Grace (or Walk to Emmaus) then this retreat is a 1 day experience of learning, worshiping and praying with Jesus. This is just for special needs starting at age 12 up to elderly and whether you have a mental or physical disability you are invited to come ( wheelchair, need help feeding etc.).
This special day will be April 18,2026 at First Methodist Church Crossville please have your person there by 8:15. To sponsor someone the cost is $50.00 this includes name tag, food and a t-shirt.
