“This community is becoming like family to me - a place where Proverbs 27:17 comes alive as we encourage and ‘sharpen’ one another. There’s something beautiful about believers from different churches and denominations coming together in worship and genuine relationship. Although each of us has our own unique weekend experience, we are united by His life-changing power that we have witnessed; that bond allows us to gather within community, worshiping our awesome God together.

I have felt drawn to serve this community and have been grateful for opportunities to help when asked. Even though I wanted to jump in and do all that I could after that weekend, I tried to trust that God would open doors in His timing, and joining the board feels like one of those moments. There have already been times my educational background has allowed me to contribute in small ways with technical matters - a reminder that He prepares us for where He calls us. I am excited to continue serving and I cannot wait to see how lives continue to be transformed through His grace and power as people draw closer to Him.”
