“What this community means to me: This community is a close extended family to me. I can call on anyone in the community for prayer of help and they will be there.

I volunteered for every men’s and women’s walk after I went through my walk. One day, Billy Rodgers asked, ‘is it okay to throw your name out to the board to be on it?’ I said yes, it is. I had been asking the Lord to use me as his hands and feet where needed. I felt, with Billy asking and the board approving, Jesus said to me, ‘Now pick up and walk for Me.’”
