“To sum up this community in one word would be ‘family’, but it goes so far beyond just family. I can’t put it into words.

I had been praying for God to use me more in the community. After serving on a walk in Nashville, I was on the phone with a friend within the community. She asked me how I felt about serving on the board. I had served on the board several years ago but hadn’t thought about it much since then. My words to her were ‘if God places it on your heart to put my name out there, go right ahead.’ She did just that and here we are. Being on the board has helped me grow in my walk with Christ and it has helped strengthen my faith to step out of the boat and do more things for Christ that I never thought I would be doing.”
