“This community means an opportunity to give back to the Lord for what he has done for me.

I had gone through my flight and had served on some teams when the community director asked if I would consider to be on the board. At that time I told him that I had not considered it but by the end of the flight I was serving on I knew God was calling me to serve on the board. So I told the community director at the time that I would serve on the board if the community and God wanted me to serve. When the voting was all done I was elected to the board. I served those three years. Then that was asked if I would be willing to serve as the community director so I served as the community director for three years. Then during the time of serving on another team I seen on the ballot that I was on it and I was like I wasn’t ready to serve on the board again. During that meeting I heard when God is calling you to do something do it. So I went through the ballot process and was elected back to the board. When you hear ‘Whom small I send?’ be ready to say ‘Here I am, send me.’ Also, be prayed up and ready to say yes when called or asked to do something.”

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference. Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
