“This community has blessed me with growth and grace over the years. I have learned what it means to be His servant and go where he leads me.

How did I know it was God’s decision to place me on the board? I was sitting at church thinking to myself, ‘God, I want to do more. I feel stuck. This little church just doesn’t step out of it’s comfort zone. What can I do?’ Well, a few weeks later I got a call to serve on walk #125. After that was completed I got a call about a Chrysalis flight. Well, during that I found out my name was mentioned for the board. This all transpired from June to late October of 2022. That was God saying, I need you for something more! And here I am, Lord, use me.”
